How does Signal Hill wireless voting technology work?
The system uses wireless, radio frequency, handheld keypads and a receiving unit (antenna, computer and specialized software) to collect and report participant responses. The process is as simple as A-B-C A. Participants view questions or test material on display screen. A large projection screen is typically used to present questions of stimulus material for large groups; TV monitors may be used for smaller groups. B. Participants register their response via keypad. Each participant answers independently by pressing the button that corresponds to his or her answer. Individual voters are prompted if they have not responded after a set period of time. C. Responses are electronically charted in real-time. In business meetings, it is usually desirable to have the participants view the responses. For focus groups, the results are typically shown only to the client in a separate viewing room and/or the moderator (using a small monitor) in the voting room.
