How does SEER Light detect pacemakers?
The SEER light detects pacemaker spikes with one channel, its Channel One. During the hook up procedure, the recorders pacemaker detection signal is sent to the SEER Light Controller and a mark is displayed in the ECG signal acknowledging the correct detection of a spike. In the event that the recorder does not adequately detect the pacemaker spike, the electrodes should be moved to a better position to enlarge the pacemaker spikes voltage/height. The sensitivity of the pacemaker spike detection is documented below.
