How does SEBAC apply to the University of Connecticut?
All University of Connecticut (UConn) employees are State employees, and the SEBAC Agreements regarding health insurance, pension and placement and training apply to all State employees equally. There are additional placement and training provisions that apply to unionized employees. The State of Connecticut and SEBAC negotiated additional agreements this year to help the State address the current fiscal situation. The Agreements that apply to the University of Connecticut were negotiated with all of the bargaining units which have employees at the University.
