How does Sea Worlds aquatica compare to Disneys water parks, blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon?
I have been to Blizzard Beach and Aquatica. I personally like Aquatica much better. I am not one for extreme thrill rides, so the major slides at Blizzard Beach we avoided. My favorite thing at Aquatica is the fast passed river. You through on a life jacket and float away. I also was amazed at the aqarium that they have on the slow moving river ride. You go under a water fall and can sit there and watch a huge aquarium very relaxing. For the ride that they advertise the most the Dolphin plunge, it was not up to par. You can not see the dolphins as you go through the tunnel. Your eyes don’t adjust in time and you are going to fast to see anything. But you can see the dolphins on the lazy river ride. For the wave pools I think the one at Aquatica is much more tense. I was not as nervous at Blizzard Beach when the kids went into theres, but at Aquatica I made them put on life jackets. As for the other rides, overall I was a happy contender. You do have some severe rides but I don’t think
