How does Sea Salt differ from Table Salt?

0

Sea salt comes naturally from the oceans and is not processed with chemicals or anti-caking agents. It is normally about 84% pure sodium chloride with the reaming 16% made up of minerals and trace elements. Table Salt is normally rock salt that undergoes extreme heating, treatment with chemicals and centrifugal separation. The result is that this salt is 97.5% pure sodium chloride with no trace elements or minerals. The remaining 2.5% is made up of bleach and iodine additives.
