How does scientific evidence prove anything to anyone about truth without their reliance on God?
I believe that Leprechauns certify all truths in every creature, and without empirical evidence or measurable proof, there is no way for you to disprove my contention. The problem with your faith based argument is that it is wholly subjective, and although I am sure you are a very nice Irishman, with a good taste in windbreakers, I understand that subjective human faith is consistently wrong.
If you cannot accept evidence of any scientific nature without attributing it to God I have no problem with that but at the same time, if this God has set a definite time table, series of events or boundary that science has disproven, then you have a problem with what to believe. I don’t find that truth requires one to rely on God but instead depending on what truth we’re speaking of, relies on your own system by which you judge. I can say that it is truth that this chair will hold my weight even though I have not sat in it yet. I am relying on it’s classification as a chair and the construction of that chair to be correct. I believe this to be truth thru my faith in it’s classification and construction. God is not a part of this truth. But this faith in the chair is speculation and my own best guess. I test that faith by placing my weight in the chair. Belief in a deity is the same thing, you are using your own judgment, to speculate on the results, it is your own best guess, not trut
