How does scheduling work?
University Housing supports that school is your top priority, and so we offer flexible scheduling. During orientation you will work with your supervisor to come up with a work schedule that works well with you and your class schedule. Scheduling tip: Dining Services usually need more employees who are available to work at lunch. When scheduling your classes, you may want to try and keep lunchtime hours open to give yourself the most options for part-time job opportunities and the choice of shifts throughout the week.
It’s as easy as sending a regular calendar invitation, with a few key differences: • You can propose multiple time slots • People you invite choose all the times that work for them and Tungle narrows it down • Invitations are auto-adjusted for different time zones • If you add events to your calendar, Tungle updates all pending invitations to prevent conflicts • Once the meeting is booked, Tungle automatically adds it to your calendar for you • People you invite to meetings don’t have to sign up, and only need email and a browser to reply To send a meeting invitation, you simply • Go to your Tungle account • Click “Schedule a meeting” • Enter your meeting details • Choose contacts to invite • Select multiple time slots to propose • Preview and send Your invitees then get an email meeting invitation with a link to a webpage where they can select the times that work for them. There are two different schedules available (both included in the Scheduling option). The calendar schedule looks like a regular calendar, where you can flip between months. You can move backwards and forwards as far as you want. The schedule will show either calendar months or 6-week periods. The time unit is 24-hour periods, which can be set to start at any time, i.e. 24.00/00.00 or for example 07.00. You enter persons by clicking them into the days you want them to be available. You can enter primaries and secondaries. When performing a Call-Out based on a schedule, RapidReach will intelligently determine who to call at any given time. The shift schedule lets you define any number of shifts in a day and their exact time interval and repeat cycle. It also supports deviations from plan, e.g. temporary switches, replacements, non-availability.
• Shoppers are notified of visits available to them, via email and available visits will also appear on your shopper page, under ‘Visits I Can Accept.’ Shops are sent out normally at the end of the month, for the next month’s first round shops. Additional rounds of shops will have notifications sent throughout a month depending on the client and their frequency. Once a round of visits is created, a small number of shoppers that are closest to the location and have a preferred shopper status are emailed first. Then subsequent shoppers will be notified every 24 hours until the shop is accepted.
