How does saltwater effect the growth of plants?
usually freshwater is the better alternative, but some plant have developed to be able to grow using saltwater as their water supply or be able to grow around salty air. the only problem is that with enough time, the saltwater will deposite salt in the plant’s topsoil and literally choke the plant and inhibit its growth. All around, though, water your houseplants with freshwater, and make sure its NOT DISTILLED. distilled water will have no nutrients that the plant needs.
