Roil Gold treats the metal not the oil and is a technology not seen in the UK before. Roil Gold is suspended in the oil and carried to all surfaces in the engine (or transmission). These surfaces become heated during normal running, causing particles of the suspended Roil Gold to heat bond onto the metal’s microscopic pores, producing highly friction resistant surfaces. The metal in the engine has positively charged ions exposed, the negative charged ions of the Roil Gold become attached to the engine leaving their positively charged ions exposed. Because there are two surfaces, each impregnated by Roil and therefore carrying positive charges, they repel each other, thus reducing the friction in the engine.
