How does RipX handle scratched or damaged CDs?
RipX uses high quality CD readers which can handle most minor scratches and defects present on a typical CD. We will also make an attempt to re-read any CD that comes up as unreadable, but we make no guarantees for deeply scratched, damaged or otherwise unreadable CDs. We will return any unreadable CDs to you and mark them as unreadable. If your collection has been somewhat abused or you have many dirty or damaged CDs, please take the time to clean them up a bit before shipping or your order may be delayed.
