The Rextrusion process enables producers to create added-value products economically. Put simply, the value of products coming off the Rextrusion machine is invariably significantly higher than what was fed into the machine. It is quite normal to achieve a 65% increase in value even taking into account the cost of additives, and therefore the ‘payback period’ on the Rextrusion machine is unusually attractive.
