How does Revenu Qubec handle unclaimed financial assets?
After publishing public notices (notices of quality) in newspapers, we begin to search for owners or other interested parties if the value of the property is great enough to warrant such a step. If none can be found, we provisionally administer the property before remitting the proceeds to the Minister of Finance, while preserving the owner’s or interested party’s right to claim it.
