How does Rescue operate?
bone_1.gif (890 bytes) We have about 100 volunteers throughout Northern California who generously donate their time and love to rescuing displaced Goldens. Among these volunteers are a board of directors and about 15 rescue agents. Each agent works with a network of area assistants who help provide temporary foster homes, rescue Goldens out of animal shelters, transport dogs, evaluate the health and temperament of dogs, and perform a myriad of other tasks. bone_1.gif (890 bytes) Other volunteers assist with everything from fundraising and public relations to legal, accounting, and administrative work. Compassionate and responsible volunteers are always needed. If you would like to help, call our Hotline (650)615-6810 to obtain the name and phone number of the agent nearest you.
