How does renting work with a USH community?
Residents of USH communities must sign a Housing Occupancy Agreement (HOA), an individual leasing agreement that covers their assigned bedroom space and any common space shared with other occupants. Residents, however, are only responsible for the terms specified in their own agreement and will not be held responsible for unpaid rent or any individually incurred fees by roommates. The term length of the HOA varies depending on the USH community. For the 2010 – 2011 school year, the term of the HOA for Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall and University Hall will begin on [DATE] and end on [DATE]. For The Village, the term begins on [DATE] and ends on [DATE]. Occupants are required to move-in and move-out on these dates respectively.
