How does religion interfere with an atheists rights?
Religion doesn’t interfere with an atheist’s rights, but sometimes the government will in its name. When the government tries to impose laws that are based solely on a religion that I don’t follow, that certainly impinges on my rights. If the US outlawed beef consumption because cows are sacred to Hindus, that’s going to interfere with the cattle industry and our eating habits based on an assumption (cows are sacred) that some of us don’t share. However, as long as a religion’s adherents don’t try to force the rest of us to follow their creed, no harm, no foul. Simple as that.
