How does Reiki healing energy actually work?
Life force energy flows through the physical body through pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. Energy also surrounds the body in a field of energy known as the aura. The aura is made up of electromagnetic energies that move in and around the body. This energy field is generated by chakra energy centers. Reiki influences the seven layers of the aura. When our life force energy is disrupted or depleted, our body’s functioning is diminished and we are vulnerable to illness and disease. Reiki energy, when passed through the practitioner to the recipient, charges the energy field with positive energy, raising its vibratory level. This causes any negative energy to dissolve. In other words, reiki heals the energy pathways, allowing the life force energy to flow in a healthy and natural way.
