How does reclaimed or salvaged wood compare with new or engineered lumber?
The recycled green lumber in Yankin’s Reclaimed Materials inventory is a premium product. We do not supply your regular redwood fence boards or deck lumber. We do supply high quality custom sawn old growth redwood and we have it available in grande sizes and large quantities. This material is much tighter grained and more dense than the third or fourth generation new wood now available at your local lumber company and is an authentic alternative to engineered lumber.
