How does RazorLast solution work?
RazorLast solution works in several ways. First, it consistently prevents the build-up of hard salt crystals that constantly form along razor edges while air drying after use. At the same time, it prevents oxidation which occurs naturally on newly used razor blades, and also works to maintain the very fine coating of lubricating oil placed on the blades by the manufacturer. After each shave, sharp salt crystals form naturally along razor edges as water evaporates during the drying process and is caused by mineral residue present in tap water. Scientific research has determined that razors do not dull in the short term for the main reason most people believe—i.e. the pitting or destruction of the metal due to shaving—rather they dull because of the clumping and accumulation of this mineral residue on the blades.
