How does Radon Loc work and where can it be used?
Radon Loc is a water based, silicate densifying sealer that works so well that one treatment comes with a twenty-year manufacturers warranty. When Radon Loc is sprayed onto the surface, it penetrates deeply into the concrete (1″ to 4″) and immediately comes in contact with the alkali and starts to form a gel, thus chemically changing the alkali forever. The gel moves out in all directions, filling the pores and hairline cracks and purging contaminants (including most oils). The gel, which now fills the pores, turns hard like concrete itself. Since all of this action is inside the concrete and not on the surface it does not affect its usage.
