How does Project Oscar know how to route my calls when BT own the line?
Easy! Project Oscar and their partner Swiftnet use a technology called Carrier Pre Select (CPS). When you move to Project Oscar they tell BT that all your calls are to be routed over the Swiftnet network and from a certain date onwards (they will write to you with this date) all your calls will be automatically re-routed.
