How does printer sharing work?
Network Magic automatically detects all printers connected to your network. It then lets you choose which printers to share with the other users in your network, even between Macs and PCs. You don’t have to do anything but choose which printer to share. This enables you to print from any of the connected computers. Keep in mind though that if a shared printer is connected to a computer, that computer must be turned on for the printer to be available to others in your network.
