How does PPS identify students who may need ESL?
Section 2 When any student initially enrolls in PPS, they must fill out a Home Language Survey indicating the student’s first language, the language at home, and the language most used by the student. If a language other than English is marked, the student must be referred to one of the Family Support Centers for assessment and enrollment.
