“Pool Patrol” operates on a 9 volt alkaline battery (not included, but available at any drugstore or supermarket). The battery should be changed every season. The remote receiver operates off an AC/DC adapter. Both models of the swimming pool alarm have a low battery indicator. However, this does not replace the need to check you battery regularly.
