How does pollution affect us?
We get diseases, deafness, lung problems through air, water and noise pollution. Let’s choose to be happy by reducing pollution or be unhappy by increasing pollution. It is all up to us. Humans are affected by water pollution by sickness like typhoid fever, cholera, dysentery and other diseases. What causes this is, eighty percent of the United States water supplies are disinfected with chlorine, (bleach) to kill the dangerous germs. Though chlorine doesnt remove dangerous chemicals like polychlorinated Biphenyls, (PCB) Chloroform or metals like lead. The careless dumping of wastes mostly warns our ground water supplies. PCBs, chloroform and pesticides have been found in most our drinking water. Scientists are concerned that drinking even small amounts of these chemicals over a long time, dangerous affects could happen to us.
