How does pollution affect our wildlife?

As you can guess it is bad for them, but I think your looking for a more precise answer. Well, the air pollution affects their lungs and breeding capabilities except in stronger animals. Water pollution is perhaps the worst though. You see when water gets polluted the animals have to consume it. At that point they start getting sick from digestive problems, or they can not survive the toxins in the water at all, as is with some fish. The mammals will start having birth defects, and sometimes become sterile altogether. Some birds or mammals not only drink the water, but also eat fish from these waters. With the elimination of some fish, the predators that feed on them will soon meet their demise as well.

Pollution causes acid rain, which kills many of our forests and animals, and the plants give us oxygen. Polluting our bodies of water kills animals when they consume things like pop cans, chemicals from factories, or other litter!

If we’re breathing in polluted air then so is wildlife. While the respiratory system is pretty strong, repeated exposures over time to various pollutants can cause damage to the lungs.
