How does playing at the Prudential Center help with recruiting?
Oh, it’s beautiful. It has a big-time feel because the Devils play there. I think it can definitely help bring kids in to play for us. It helps them realize they’re in Division I. Finding a conference home is obviously a big goal for the program. Have you heard any encouraging news on that front? Talking to the athletic department, we sometimes feel like that’s out of our control. We feel that it will happen soon, because we’re a good school in the New York Metro area. We’re surrounded by conferences, and before too long, one of them will be looking for a program like ours. We just have to concentrate on what we can control, and play good basketball. You have a young team. Do they seem upbeat about the prospects for ’08-’09? Yeah, I think so. They’re nice kids, with good attitudes. They’re willing to do as we ask and work hard.
