How does player/team assignment work?
Both T Ball (kindergarteners) and Coach Pitch (1st graders) are assigned based on school/neighborhood location, usually combining two schools per team. What is Little League Age ?- Effective for the 2006 season, Little League International changed the date used to determine a player’s age to April 30th. “League Age is the child s age on April 30th of the current year. Can my child play in a level different from his/her league age? – Yes, if the child has a May, June, July or August birthday, he/she can play up a level to join grade level classmates. Players are also allowed to play down a level with their classmates if they desire.
