Most professionals prefer to avoid large multi-tenant buildings. When you lease space in a large multi-tenant building, the common area which is made up of stairwells, elevators, hallways, etc. can make 20% or more of the space in the building. It is unusable to you but you still have to pay for it. If you are thinking about renting here, remember that rentable space and usable space are different.
