How does performance on the Euclid Contest affect admission?
While the Euclid Contest is not required for admission, we encourage you to participate because it will help develop your problem-solving skills and prepare you for university studies. As well, strong performance on the Euclid Contest can help earn you a place in the Faculty of Mathematics. Please note that, to be eligible for a Faculty of Mathematics entrance scholarship, participation in the Euclid Contest is required. If you’re not a high school student, you’re particularly encouraged to write the Euclid Contest to demonstrate that you have sufficient mathematical background to enter our programs.
