How does Performance Appraisal Composer work?
You select from 16 available rating topics such as Safety, Quality, Productivity, etc. that you want to evaluate the employee with. The combination of topics you select can be saved and named so you can recall them when composing more appraisals for the same position. The program presents you with statements for each topic that you rate from 1 to 5. A feedback paragraph is automatically composed based on the scores you select. The paragraph can be edited so that it is more specific to the employee. The program also looks at the overall scores and automatically composes a Strengths, and Needs Improvement section on the appraisal which is optional. The last step is to write goals for the employee if you choose. The last step is to select the style, and print, or export the appraisal to one of many formats. The appraisals are saved so you can open, and edit them, or export them into other formats.
