How does PBA get compensated?
PBA is flexible regarding its compensation, always within reason of course. It will work with clients to establish a structure that is beneficial for both parties. Compensation can be structured on an hourly, daily or monthly basis. Monthly retainers are typically based on a set maximum number of hours per month, with a provision for additional compensation beyond the maximum threshold, if exceeded. Additionally, a project-based or fixed-fee contract can be entered into if the deliverables and responsibilities of the parties can be easily and clearly defined. PBA will sometimes even consider doing work on a contingency basis depending on the circumstances of the engagement. A retainer will be required in advance, prior to commencement of any work, regardless of which of the above compensation options is implemented.
