How does payment work?
When a purchase is made via a credit card, all monies go into a holding account. Twice monthly, each bookstore, IndieCommerce, the wholesaler, and the credit card processing company are paid from this account, via wire transfer to their respective banks. Additionally, bookstores will receive a report showing how much money is payable to their state tax authority.
• As a label, you will receive the payment via PayPal for every artist in your roster. You must have the right and permission from the artist to collect payment on their behalf and report to them accordingly with regards to your agreement. MusicFreedom.com does not collect or pay mechanical royalties; therefore it is the Label’s sole responsibility to comply with any publishing agreements and US Copyright Law.
