How does payment for the tickets take place? How do venues get paid?
Payment for the tickets is handled traditionally at the POS stations or online via credit card transaction through the venue’s Web site. Ticket buyers and sellers pay a nominal transaction fee (on top of the actual value of the sale). Their respective accounts are automatically debited or credited as the transaction takes place. Venue involvement in the program consists of helping to promote the service and handling ticket fulfillment at the venues box office.
