How does Passport protect childrens online privacy? Are childrens signatures of any value in petitions?

Answer… Passport is a forum for everyone who is interested in conserving the earth. However, WWF Passport recognizes that its young campaigners’ use of the Internet raises special concerns about privacy and security of the information volunteered. Therefore, all of our young Internet campaigners are advised to obtain their parents’ or guardians’ permission before signing up for Passport, and the registration form states this quite clearly. As for the value of their signatures – they should perhaps be considered more valuable than the signature of an adult. After all, it is they who will have to live longer with the damage being done to the world today.
