How does PartsBase generate revenue?
Subscription Revenue – PartsBase.com currently has over 4,300 subscribers paying up to $2,499 per year to utilize the site. The annual subscription fee is charged per customer location and varies based on the number of locations the customer is registering and the number of users at each location. As described in FAQ #2, these revenues are spread evenly over the length of the subscription, which is generally 12 months. On-Line Transactions – See FAQ #5 above. PartsBases customers are currently performing over 110,000 parts searches on the site on a monthly basis. Approximately 20,000 of these searches result in an electronic RFQ being sent to multiple sellers directly from the PartsBase site. From this point, the remainder of the transaction is completed outside of the PartsBase marketplace. The remaining searches are currently conducted by buyer and seller via telephone, fax or e-mail.
