How does ozone kill odors, germs, Mold, and other pollutants?
As mentioned earlier, the ozone molecule has 3 oxygen atoms. One of these atoms is loose and easily passes to and bonds with the molecule of the offending odor, germ etcetera. In the case of odors, germs, mold, and other pollutants, this bonding forms harmless molecules such as CO2 and the original oxygen molecule.
