Model 615 does not store oxygen in gas form. Instead, it consists of two inert powders. Only once the knob is turned does the components come together and create oxygen. As a result, there is no storage of oxygen, and the oxygen is created on demand. As a direct result, Model 615 does not store oxygen under compression, thereby eliminating the dangers traditionally associated with compressed tanks.
