How does Oracle Calendar handle resources?
We have set resources so that they cannot be double-booked. This means that the resources are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have the room reserved from 2pm-3pm on a particular date, someone else will not be able to reserve the resource during that time. Note that some resources have different levels of access rights, and designates will decide who gets to reserve the room. You may want to check with the resource designate if you have questions regarding a particular resource. (To find out who is the resource designate, go to Tools -> Search Directory and click on the Resource tab. Type the resource name and click the Search button. Single-click on the resource name and click Information. The contact person for the resource will be listed).
