How does one use the software to schedule a limited resource such as a room or piece of equipment?
From the Calendar Edit function change the “Use as scheduler” option to ‘checked’. You may also modify the ‘Trust Users’ option. If the ‘Trust Users’ option is checked then user id’s with the same permission level as the user id that submitted an event can modify an event. If the ‘Trust Users’ option is not checked then only the user id that created the event (or user id’s with higher – but not equal to) permission can change the event. In future operation the software will not allow anyone to add an event that will cause a scheduling convex with an existing event. Users will be presented with a message saying there is a scheduling conflict and asked to re-schedule the event they are trying to add.
