How does one trace the cause of anger and uproot it?

The anger at the surface of the mind can be compared to a tree. The cause of the anger is like the unseen root of the tree lying hidden beneath the soil. In a similar way, once you become aware of the negativity within you, you should practice introspection and search for the root of that negativity.
