To affect a direct deposit of VA monthly stipends, or change one’s postal address, the veteran must call the Cleveland Finance Center at 1.800.827.1000. The VA representative will ask the veteran a few personal questions including the routing and transit number of the bank account where the checks are to be sent to verify the veteran is whom he/she claims to be.
