How does one protect from sun, chill or rain?
While on trail, try and cover your entire body. For the sun, a cap, sunglasses and loose clothes will go a long way to protect against burns. Try and cover your neck and face if the heat is unbearable, else it may burn the exposed parts of your body. Wear multiple layers in winters to protect from chill and cold. Cover your face if heading in strong and dry winds. Use a moisturiser to prevent your skin from cracking. Use lip balm. Always carry a raincoat for the monsoons. Raincoats will keep you warm and dry. If the rains are heavy, then stop and look for shelter. If need be, return to base these preventing any emergency. If stranded look for high ground with enough cover and wait for the rains to recede.
