Speaking with the teachers at Nazareth High school, they were all agreed that you have to give the students a variety of assignments. You have to be able to let each student be able to shine in the area that they are strongest. The National Science Education Standards stress the use of multiple methods that will involve the students in the assessment process. Our textbook suggests that you use a variety of methods to assess students’ attainment of skills and knowledge, but to make sure that you think about why you are using each method and if it will be suitable to gather the measurements that you desire.
