How does one locate information about a particular person or other “entity”?
Thanks to the unique tracking system (see Question 2 above), it is very easy to obtain comprehensive information about any person, member, employee or organization. That’s because the same ID is always used for an entity. Imagine, for example, that you want to view all the clinical data for a person named “Chris Smith.” You simply enter Ms. Smith’s unique ID, then index the appropriate table in the Clinical Data Repository software module. You will see a table of all clinical observations available for Chris Smith, regardless of date, time, setting, visit, etc.
