A Trailer park consists of a lot with water, sewer and electricity. You buy a mobile home and have it delivered to the park and utilities hooked up. Average rent is 200 for the lot. People do this since you can get a mortgage on a mobile home but you cannot on vacant land. So if you do not have cash to purchase your own land and pay for the digging of a well, septic system and bringing in electric then it is cheaper to put the home in a park.
