How does one get Verne Troyer to agree to co-star in a YouTube video?
Tony Cavalero: Verne and I share a manger and we have a mutual friendship because of it. I wrote the script and he said it was something he was interested in doing, so we shot it. MM: Question numero two – Matisyahu will be co-star in your next YouTube video. Spill it. TC: I’m playing another crazy character sporting a fanny pack and a wicked pair of short shorts. He is the coolest dude ever! Very kind and will hopefully be working with him and Verne again very soon! MM: How would you describe your style to (the few) people who haven’t seen you grace YouTube? TC: I’m really starting to find my niche as far as comedy goes. I love writing about characters from real life and putting them into everyday situations. It’s a crazy computer nerd who thinks he’s talking to the star of “Willow”. That’s very much the Groundlings style. Finding a character that you know and amplifying that real characters. MM: You’ve amassed over 10,000 Youtube channel subscribers in two months. What’s your secret?
