A. This information is available to the public and some of records can be found on LABINS. Web site. The Title and Land Records section of the Bureau of Survey and Mapping is sometimes called upon to assist researchers, attorneys, historians, authors and genealogists to obtain information on land parcels. Some of the items available are certified copies of deeds, including deeds of acquisition and disposition of state lands, original surveys with field notes from surveys of the state initiated in the 1800s, historic surveyor instructions, U.S. patents, Armed Occupation Permits and other information related to historic state land records. Please call the Division of State Lands at (850) 245-2555 for further information or to make an appointment.
