How does one exit TaxWise without saving the return?
Response: The only way a return can be deleted is by logging on as “ADMIN” (or the same user where the return was created) and using TaxWise Explorer to delete the return. • For deceased spouse returns, the instructions say the surviving spouse should be the first person with his/her social security number although this may not have been the case in previous years. The return will go through either way. Need some explanation on why this should be done (perhaps for mail and communication purposes). Also, for a deceased person return, the address line 2 c/o needs to be completed with the name of the surviving spouse or other appropriate third party if there is no surviving spouse. This line needs to turn red to sure it is completed as soon as the “Deceased Person” entry is completed on the main information sheet.
