1) Make certain the laptop (or computer) is powered off; 2) Connect the power cable to the projector; 3) An orange indicator light will come on; 4) Connect the provided video cable from the RGB or Monitor Output on the computer to the RGB Input on the projector; 5) Turn the projector on; 6) Turn the laptop on; 7) If there is no picture, or the projector displays a blue and purple disconnect icon; 8) Press the Input button on the projector to switch sources to RGB; 9) The projector will display which source is selected; 10) If condition persists, set the projector to RGB using the input button and change the display mode on the laptop. This might differ for each laptop. For most Dell laptops, press and hold the blue Fn button on the lower left of the keyboard, then press the F8 key.
