How does one choose majors in IIMC?
In IIMC, one doesn’t need to choose majors. There are 90 subjects on offer in the second year under different departments. One can take a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 25 subjects over three terms in the second year. If one chooses five or more subjects from a single department, he gets a major in that. And taking three subjects from a department gets one a minor in that. So, depending on the number and distribution of one’s chosen subjects, the majors are decided.
